C: £5K - £10K

Andrew MacLeod is an accomplished organisational leader, global Chairman and multi-national corporate Board Director. He brings a practical, experienced analysis to the link between sovereign and community risks and the valuation of major assets particularly in developing economies.

As a humanitarian, solider and business leader, Andrew has passed through numerous war zones and natural disasters, coordinated massive relief campaigns and negotiating with military dictators and terrorists. He held positions with the International Committee for the Red Cross and served as Chief of Operations of the United Nations Emergency Coordination Centre, leading the international response to the 2005 Kashmir earthquake in Pakistan. This mission is remembered as one of the world's best responses to a natural disaster. Andrew now shares these experiences from Bosnia to Kosovo, Rwanda to Pakistan, drawing parallels to the business world with key lessons on leadership.

Andrew is the former Managing Director of an Australian based Superannuation fund, a Non Executive Director for New York based Cornerstone Capital and a Senior Adviser to Homestrings plc in London. Taking his lessons to the classroom, Andrew is an Affiliate Senior Associate to the Center for Strategic International Studies in Washington DC, an adjunct Professor at Kings College London, an adjunct Senior Lecturer at University of Tasmania and sits on the Sustainable Accounting Standards Board.

His book, A Life Half Done, is a part autobiography and part controversial dialogue account of Andrew's life so far. It draws from his time on the ground in the world's disaster and emergency zones, and leaves the reader with some tough questions.

Andrew currently assists numerous charities including The Big Issue (Australia), Swags for the Homeless and the Victorian Youth Mentoring Alliance, and maintains a Commission as an Australian Army Officer (reserve).

Andrew is a well deserving recipient of the Humanitarian Overseas Service Medal (twice), and the Australian Defence Medal.
