Jo Malone CBE is an internationally renowned entrepreneur, speaker, and creative visionary, celebrated as one of the world’s most influential figures in fragrance. Widely described as an “English scent maverick,” Jo first discovered her passion for perfume while working as a facial therapist from her London home. Her handmade potions quickly gained a following and led to the creation of her iconic first brand, Jo Malone London. After selling to Estée Lauder in 1999, she remained as Creative Director until 2006 before leaving the company entirely.

In 2011, driven by her lifelong love of fragrance, Jo launched Jo Loves, a brand built on creativity, integrity, and innovation. Inspired by memories and everyday moments, her collections of perfumes, candles, and lifestyle products have captivated audiences worldwide and cemented her reputation as a true pioneer in the industry.

Jo’s journey from modest beginnings, through her battles with dyslexia and breast cancer, to building global businesses, is a story of resilience and determination. Along the way she has received an MBE and later a CBE for her services to the beauty industry and British economy, as well as being inducted into the World Retail Congress Hall of Fame.

In 2023, Jo and her husband Gary relocated to Dubai to embrace what she describes as the “banquet of opportunity” in the Middle East. Together they founded Jo Malone CBE Creative Consultancy, a new chapter of discovery and innovation exploring the “five senses of Jo.” Their first venture, Jo Vodka, launched in 2025, marks the beginning of an exciting new journey.

A highly sought-after international speaker, Jo regularly shares her entrepreneurial expertise and creative vision with audiences around the world. Her BBC Maestro course, How to Think Like an Entrepreneur, has inspired thousands globally, while her talks blend candour, humour, and inspiration to leave audiences energised and empowered.
