Manish is the main presenter of The Football League Show on BBC One. He has a relaxed and informal style that makes him a rising star amongst TV presenters.
After 14 years as a regular anchor for BBC TV in the UK, Manish Bhasin is now globally recognised as the face of the Premier League, broadcasting to over 500 million viewers worldwide every week.
As host of ‘Matchday Live’ Manish fronts live coverage of Premier League games simultaneously on sports networks across India, America, Canada, Africa and Australia, working alongside legends such as Peter Schmeichel and Ryan Giggs.
Prior to joining the Premier League Show, Manish worked on a number of BBC programs. Initially with the Football Focus, where he was their youngest ever presenter. He went on to present both The Football League Show and Match Of The Day 2 (which he sometimes still does) as well as various FIFA World Cup Matches in both Germany 2006 and Brazil 2014.
Manish is very popular when it comes to hosting corporate dinners. In 2018 he hosted the prestigious PFA Awards, where Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah won player of the season. In the past Manish has also hosted the Football League Awards as well as the Asian Media Awards. Manish is also an Ambassador of the British Asian trust.
In his spare time, the passionate Leicester City fan and keen golfer is an ambassador for Prince Charles’ British Asian Trust charity (which raises money for causes in South East Asia) and is often seen playing cricket for ‘The Lords Taverners’ children’s charity.
